Unveiling Customer Tag Management

Our innovative Customer Tag Filtering feature empowers administrators with the ability to search and filter customers using two distinct types of tags: “Customer Type” and “Customer Tag.”

1. Customer Type Tags

The “Customer Type” tags are determined by Corksy, based on your customers’ purchase behavior. These tags categorize customers according to their engagement and loyalty levels. Here’s an overview of these Customer Type tags:

  • Prospect: These are potential new customers who haven’t made a purchase yet.
  • 1st Time Customer: Individuals who have made one purchase within the last year.
  • Repeat: Customers who have made multiple purchases in the past year.
  • Wine Club Member: These are active wine club members enjoying exclusive benefits.
  • Inactive: Customers who haven’t made a purchase in the last year and might need re-engagement efforts.

2. Customer Tags

In addition to Customer Type tags, administrators can create and assign “Customer Tags” to categorize customers based on various criteria. These tags are customizable to your unique business needs, offering flexibility. Examples of Customer Tags include “Red Wine Lover,” “Family & Friends,” “Wholesale,” “Industry” or any other relevant categories.

How to Leverage Advanced Customer Tag Filtering

Access Your Admin Account: Start by logging into your admin account on the Corksy platform.

Navigate to Customer Management: Within the Customer section, you’ll find the new Customer Tag Filtering option. You can also export your customer data and apply tags from this section.

Select Customer Type or Customer Tag: Choose whether you want to filter customers by Customer Type or Customer Tag. The system will then display a list of customers who match your selected tag criteria.

Assign New Customer Tags: From the Actions drop-down menu, click “Details” next to the relevant customer. Then, assign as many Customer Tags as necessary for the selected customer.

Create New Customer Tags: If you don’t see a tag you want to use, you can create a new one. Once created, this tag will automatically become a drop-down option for all your customers.

Utilize Customer Data: With filtered results at your fingertips, you can tailor your marketing efforts, track customer engagement, and apply strategies specific to each customer group.
